Post subject: URL tracking

Can the system record all activities by user?
I need to know which sites each user visited during a period of time.
Last week activities, or last month.
And also, can i block sites? if yes, how many can the system handle?

Regards,

For user activities, you can get the information using feature "URL Tracking". The information is in the ODBC table "fsurl". You can use SQL to obtain the reporting format you need.

To block sites, you can use the feature "IP Block List". For "IP Block List", originally, we envision users to block the whole Intranet. So we set limit (i.e. 10) to pretty small (partly for performance reason). Note that you can block the whole subnet (e.g. 192.168.0.1 and subnet 255.255.255.0) within one entry.

You need Advanced Edition for feature URL Tracking. See http://patronsoft.com/firstspot/editions.html for more information.
