Post subject: Found a major issue

The client is a regular vista laptop using Firefox and needs to be able to passivle login and surf (employee, not a guest)
- Joined wireless network
- Tried to surf and got Firspot login page
- I added a user and using mac address and passive login.
- Client can now surf without manual login.
- I then deleted the user account.

The client can still surf the net, yet Firstspot says noone is connected. This is a major issue if I need to stop someone immediately.

1) How do you delete the user? Through Configuration Manager UI?

2) What is the exact version of FirstSpot are you using?

We can reproduce this issue in our lab, and we are working on a fix.

Below is a fix for this issue:

http://patronsoft.com/firstspot/download/patch/603/DeletePassiveLogin.zip

Here is the instruction:
1) stop FirstSpot
2) download the above zip file and copy the 3 files to the corresponding directories to your existing v6.0.2 installation. You might want to backup the original files first.
3) start FirstSpot after applying this fix.

This problem will be fixed in v6.0.3.
