|
|
I need to buy FirstSpot one more license but I have problems with user access log keeping. When I disable nat in FirstSpot and make the return route from router to FirstSport. I can't go to website. Please see my tepology as below.
- Router = 10.20.6.1/24
- FirstSpot wan = 10.20.6.2/24
- FirstSpot lan = 10.20.7.1/24
- Static route in router
Destination=10.20.7.0
subnet=255.255.255.0
gateway=10.20.6.2
My main target is I need to save access log of IP in LAN (not WAN) segment of FirstSpot Server. Because if i setup normal configuration. My router will send log only from IP 10.20.6.2. Actually client under FirstSpot is 10.20.7.x
Please accept my extreme thanks in advanced for your support. _________________ DrayTek VPN & Firewall Router |

The static route in your router looks correct. Please try:
1) first, try to reboot your router
2) can the client see the FirstSpot login page? If not, something is wrong with the DNS setting (you can use command nslookup to check) _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

1. I already reboot router but fail.
2. it can see firstspot login page but when input login name and password it could not redirect to the website.
3. when I use nslookup it could not solve dns. _________________ DrayTek VPN & Firewall Router |

2) Strange. How do you access FirstSpot login page? If you access a normal web site like yahoo.com first and then it redirects to FirstSpot login page, the DNS should be okay
3) Can you post the nslookup text output here?
Again, if the DNS turns out to be okay. It is almost certain that something wrong with your router return route. Do you have another router to test? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
