Alan,

I was going thru the event viewer and found an entry. Could this have anything to do with it?

Source: RemoteAccess
Type: Warn

A certificate could not be found. Connectiuons that use the L2TP protocol over IPsecrequire the installation of a machine certificate, also know as a computer certificate. No L2TP calls will be accepted.

What certificate is it looking for? How do I get it?

The RemoteAccess is unrelated.

Please turn off Client Isolation for the time being.

Again, just use all default parameter within FirstSpot. Make sure everything works well firspot.

Okay, I turned Client Isolation Off.

Still the same, no change.

Can you confirm that there is no other DNS server (e.g. MS DNS) installed in your machine?

There is no other DNS system on the machine.

Its a completely clean Win2003 install.

Thought you would like to know that I am now the proud owner of a Up And Running HotSpot!

Dumped Win2003, Installed Win XP Pro, Worked first time! Even charged my credit card! :)

Thanks for all your help. Time to buy this software!
