I have now a very near to all defaults settings.
Still dhcpservice.exe keeps ctashing down.
Can you help to find the reason?
Should I provide you with any more info than the log bellow?
Thanks

Quick question, are you a paid customer? Or you are testing with the trial version?
You can try to reinstall FirstSpot. I think somehow your settings confuse FirstSpot and cause DHCP server to crash. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Sorry for the late reply, I didn’t have a lot of time recently for testing Firstspot.
I have now uninstalled and reinstalled and not only DHCP is still crushing down, but clients accessing from one specific location are given full connection without having to login.
I’m reminding you that I’m trying to use Firstspot in a Wireless Lan consisting in several Cisco bridges, access points and workgroup bridges and Linksys wireless routers. Please let me know if it would help to post a map of the wilan or any other information.
Thank you for your help. |

Most likely you have NAT router between your client PC and FirstSpot. You are using IP-based Session Handling which is correct, but the NAT router will present the same IP to FirstSpot for all client access.
You need to try much simpler case like Scenario 1 first. Once everything works well, then you can proceed to more complicated setup. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
