Post subject: which Raduis server

Is there an afordable raduis server that i can use?

The main purpose is that we want a few hotspots in some restaurants an make the auth. an a dedicated server on internet.

So that the clients can use there account in all the restaurants whith our hotspots.

Also it must be posible to make a billing system for every restaurant.
The restaurant must print the ticket (your software )
We must bill te restaurant ( Trough the info the radius provides )

( the restaurant sells the accounts for our hotspot, so we must know how many and which accounts each restaurant sells)

Is there a combination of software that will do this job?

Technically, FirstSpot supports Microsoft IAS or Funk steel-belted RADIUS. Refer to readme.rtf for more details.

Usually, you need RADIUS only if you already have an existing RADIUS server (that you want to share the account information with FirstSpot). Otherwise, it is easier to use the "ODBC Authentication Mode" and stores the user information in the ODBC database table.

You might want to check out our FAQ for more discussion on this subject.
