users plugging in routers

Is there a way to block a user from plugging in a router and signing up for one user account and then allowing other computers to get an ip from their router? I set up a router on a hardwired line and the first one to use it is required to authenticate but after that it allows everyone else onto their connection.

I assume you have a router between FirstSpot and client PC. In that case, you need to make sure:

1) the router NAT is off
2) your are using IP-based session handling within FirstSpot

No. The only option you have is to continuosly scan the network. If you see a user using a router, then turn off the MAC address and log it into your rejection database.
