Please check out http://www.patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1175 for our position on RADIUS support. We don't have plan to support RADIUS server other than MS IAS or Funk.

Still, you might want to check out http://www.patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1157 for your Internal Server Error.

Post subject: So .. FS_AUTH_ACL is needed

Let me see if I understood well,

1) IF I can manage to have my Radius Server to send an FS_AUTH_ACL filled with a Y, everything will work fine??

2) I was already thinking on buying you licenses as I tested the system and everything works pretty neat.. But on the other hand I am not interested on investing or implementing other radius server rather than Radiator. It would be great if you somehow provide interoperability so the "not IAS or FUNK" possible customers as myself are not put away. (A patch? an additional module? something like that)

Sorry, no Radiator support in the near future. The best workaround we can offer is the RADIUS proxy (again, IAS comes bundled for free with Windows Server OS).

Post subject: Okay.. using IAS

Lets say I have an IAS server running somewhere else.. IF I forward the Radius Auth towards that server and that machine works as a proxy radius towards my Radiator server.. you say that will continue??

Or.. the famous IAS dll is needed?

Thx for your cooperation :)

It should work fine.

You can download some general sample IAS DLL source code (unrelated to proxy) at http://patronsoft.com/firstspot/sample/iasdll.zip . The DLL is needed whether you setup proxy or not.

Post subject: Dll needed then

Why is it needed? I dont have programming background so it would be really helpful if you could give me more hints related to this.

Well, it is the nature of IAS that requires some programming efforts.
