Post subject: user authentication
Hi, i'm looking for a wireless managment solution in a campus envrionment. Can you take advantage of Active Directory as an authentication source for wireless users?

Yes. You need to setup MS IAS as the backend authentication server. See http://www.patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1175 for information on using MS IAS with FirstSpot.
