Our service was down for a few days and we were wondering about editing the users... I know we can go down the list through the web interface but...
If i were to open fsusr.dbf in a microsoft excel format and go down the list and add days to accounts would that work? That way I wouldnt have to do each one individually and save a couple of hours. |

The best way is to execute SQL against the table fsusr. You can execute SQL from PHP or MSQRY32.EXE (available in Microsoft Office). The table fsusr definition is in chapter 5 of firstspot_guide.dbf.
Note that there are tools in the market that can change dbf (i.e. dbase) datasource. We encounter a lot of problems (like corrupting the index) with those tools in the past. So we strongly recommended against them. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
