reseting ADSL enables firstspot

I have a problem with firstspot and the logon.
After a resart of firstspot, no users can logon, the logon page will not display.
If I restart the ADSL router, the problem disappears.
I can confirm that if I ping www.apple.com, all I get is timeouts, restart the router and the problem is resolved.
The system is generally working prior to the restart, I initiate the restart as I change the SMTP roaming setting and it will not take affect until Fistspot is restarted.
I am running the latest version 4.0.12 to resolve the roaming problem which I cannot find how to set our ISP SMTP server as the relay within firstspot either.

Any insights or help appreciated.

For using ISP SMTP server (v4.0.10 or newer), you need to specify the parameter IspSmtpDomain within config.ini. See http://www.patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=945 for details.
