OK
I have downloaded the program and need to get a test machine to load it on. What I want to know is to use the software from a central location what is required. (remember I am a newbie) I need a complete walk though on what routers go where, how to get the AP to connect to the software, what DSL providers can I use and how to us the locations exsisting DSL. I looked at a solution that had your software type but use gateway type AP's ( [PRODUCT NAME DELETED] ) I basically want to have the software loaded in a central location go to cafe's and use their exsisting DSL install an AP and start advertising my new spot. I want to do this for about 100 location That I have in mind. Please advice before I purchase the software. Thank you and remember no to explain things to technical as I am a newbie |

For your case, you can use Scenerio 3 Centralized Network Topology (refer to chapter 4 - Network Topologies of firstspot_guide.pdf for details)
Your setup will look like :
clientPC->WLAN AP->router->FirstSpot->Internet
Please note that the client traffic needs to go through FirstSpot before reaching the Internet.
You can also use Scenerio 2. Again, please refer to firstspot_guide.pdf for details.
