Post subject: Redirecting, Internet

hi,

following situation:

got a zyxel wlan router (which I usualy use for my Internet Connection, ISP Settings are saved on zyxel),

relay function is on and pointing at 10.20.7.1 (standart firstspot ip) .

I also edited the "mutiple network segment" -
First entry: 192.168.1.1 - 255.255.255.0 - 192.168.1.1 - no php redirecting
firstspot dhcp is auto, NAT is on, DNS is 10.20.7.1

there is no error message, but the client can only see firspot-login-page when a numeric ip is entered in iexploere address bar. (maybe DNS) also the Firstspot-machine and client pc can't access internet after setting up firstspot.

there is no way I can change any "checksum/offloading" on my Realtek RTL8180 NIC.

thx for help

Hi,

What is your exact Network Topology of setting up firstspot?

If you are using Scenario 3 (refer to firstspot_guide.pdf under firstspot directory), this entry is incorrect "192.168.1.1 - 255.255.255.0 - 192.168.1.1"

The entry should be something like "192.168.1.1 - 255.255.255.0 - 10.20.7.x" where 10.20.7.x is the wan port ip address of your router that is on the same subnet of Firstspot.

Please refer to firstspot_guide.pdf, Chapter 4-Network Topologies of FirstSpot for more details.
