I'm evaluating FirstSpot for use in our business network offering. It seems to block both passive and active FTP. What do I need to do to allow FTP to work?
Thanks! |

Did you first login FirstSpot via the web-based authentication page? Once you successfully login, you should be able to use FTP (or any other applications). _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Yes, I logged in via the web authentication, then I get "530 Failure to login" (or similar) from SmartFTP in both active and passive modes. Am I doing something wrong? |

At least Passive Login should work. Can you try IE FTP as a test? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
