I am currently testing Firstspot and have set up a basic setup consisting of 1 client PC, 1 AP connected to NIC 1 in a WinXP box (running Firstspot), the other NIC connected to an ADSL router and to the internet. The system all works fine, I can browse etc. but I want to access the configuration manager from my hotspot. I have ticked the "allow access via Hotspot" and added a user in both the users and the administrators areas but now have no idea what to do next. From my computer connected to my AP, what do I actually do? Is there a URL to go to or what?
Your help would be appreciated |

First, after you select the check box "allow access via Hotspot", please make sure you restart FirstSpot.
The URL for you to access Configuration Manager from the client side is http://10.20.7.1:5787 (assuming default IP). _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
