start up problem

Hi there,

I just installed Firstspot on a new machine - and I get this error message. "Public network interface card is not enabled. " - that is not true as Internet is working.

It looks like first spot cannot find the MAC address of my network card.
in the Log files I get messages like this

"* GetMacAddress: MAC cannot be obtained"

IPconfig /all is shown at the end of this message.

I suspect FirstSpot is not compatible with VMWare. Can you try to install FirstSpot using a physical card?
