When we have a new guest connect to our network the FirstSpot machine is crashing with a stop error.
From the event log we get the following errors:
Error code 00000050, parameter1 8aaf1739, parameter2 00000001, parameter3 f65e4e12, parameter4 0000000
And also ones like this:
Error code 1000007f, parameter1 00000008, parameter2 80042000, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 00000000.
And finally:
Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 f6912e12, parameter3 f5dfff38, parameter4 00000000.
The first error is the most prevalent, with 7 of the 9 errors being the same type of error.
Please let me know if you have a fix for this sort of error.
Thanks,

This was a fresh load of Windows 2003 and it has the Symantec Corporate edition anti-virus installed.
This specifically happens when a MAC not in the static IP list or seen previously by the FirstSpot service tries and connects. Now we have paid for a license, is there an official channel I should be taking this through?
Thanks,

If you have a maintenance contract, you can send email to support@patronsoft.com to request official support.
We suspect the anti-virus is conflicting with FirstSpot. Try to uninstall it completely and see whether your problem still happens. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
