Post subject: Extra Information fields are not being required |

I'm using the Administrator Created user and have a number of fields that are entered and they have been checked as being required. When users log on, however, they don't have to fill in the information. It states that they succeeded in their form submission eventhough they don't fill in anything.
Is there another key somewhere?
