Setting Up

Hi,

i want test the trial and i have a setting up problem.

i read the pdf already and i can not connect.
the service fail to start.

my hardware is 1 DSL Linksys Modem and 1 wireless Router Linksys WRT54GL as AP and 1 PC with 2 NICs.

the Public Network Interface should be connect to the modem and the Private Network Interface should be connect to the Router ?
is this right ?

what i have to configure at the Modem and Router ?

i have another question:
can i use the Server or PC for many locations ?

i mean for a second or third location with AP already. do i need another
PC or Server or can i connect with DDNS or something else to the exist
Server ?

1) Your Public Network Interface should connect to a "normal" Internet connection. We don't support PPPoE directly. If your Linksys DSL modem cannot act as a PPPoE client, you need to place a router (which acts as a PPPoE client) between FirstSpot and your DSL modem.

The Private Network Interface should connect to the LAN port (not WAN) of your AP. Make sure you turn off DHCP server in your AP.
