Post subject: Reach signup_form from public network

Is it possible to reach the signup_form.php from a public network?

I want to make a pre-signup form. So visitors can signup earlier then they visit the hotspot.

62.162.**.**:5788/signup_form.php would do the job, but unfortunately this doesn't work

How can i fix this?

I know that the link is http://your_private_ip:5788/signup_form.php. And that works fine, but i want to get to this page also by an other machine that is'nt in the same network.

There is also a posibility to get to the configuration page by http://server_public_ip:5787 and by http://your_private_ip:5787/. So for the configuration page there is a public and a private posibility to get to that page.

So why can't i get to the signup form by http://server_public_ip:5788

If i want to do this, what do i have to make to fix this?

Port 5788 is not accessible from the Public side due to security concern.

You can make a copy of the signup_form.php to FirstSpot\local directory. This directory is accessible from the Public side and the default port is 5789.

For v5, please set Self_signup_no_mac=0 within config.ini if you want to access signup_form.php directly (instead of access via the "Sign Up Now!" link within FirstSpot login page).
