Post subject: FS Concurrent Session Support

I have downloaded the trial software and successfully tested that it provides the features that I need to meet our requirement. I am looking to purchase the Advanced version and run it on a Windows 2003 server. This server will be a Core 2 Duo 2Ghz processor with 2GB of RAM. I can upgrade the server if neccessary.

What I would like to know is what testing or past experience has shown for the number of concurrent sessions your product can support. Unfortunately, I will not be able to test this because once I get onsite I need to roll this out and can't afford to find out then that I have the wrong solution. I understand that this question doesn't have a specific answer but can you give me some ballpark information to the question?

I am expecting approximately 250 concurrent sessions at the peak from a pool of around 2000 users who will be on and off the network at any one time. I will use the anonymous access method since we will not be requiring a login. We just need to ability to display a spash screen prior to Internet access. Can your product handle this or have you ever heard of anyone using it in this size of environment?

Thanks for your assistance.

250 concurrent users is definitely okay since we already have customer with similar range ( e.g. http://www.patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1231 ). Couple of points to note:
1) You should switch to MySQL or SQL server as the datasource, see http://www.patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=545 for more information.
2) You need to have a decent machine. You can monitor your current CPU & memory utilization using Task Manager. We have customer with similar load using a 2.4G Quad Core machine and the CPU utilization doesn't even reach 50%.
