I have the 4.014 version with windows xp sp2 and apache service stop frequently and now we have a error with remote acces and dhcp doesn´t work very well. We have installed the new 5.0 version in another server with windows 2003 server and run correctly but the first 4.012 version doesn´t work in this operative system very well.
Anyone have the 4.014 version work perfect with windows 2003 server? because is more stable that windows xp.
When you are goiing to have the final 5.0 version instead of beta version to install in windows 2003 server?
Thanks for all |

Both v4 and v5 should work with Windows 2003.
Our plan is to have v5 final ready by the end of September. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

The problem is with java and apache service. I asked to my friend that know apache very well and he told me that the problem is in the log file size that repeat each time. When we have too many movements of users the log file is very big and apache stopped.
The local ethernet card is disable and not respond to the pings i make. FIrstspot appear started but nobody have acces in the refresh list. When this happen i have to restart windows.
Do you know if it is posible? Thanks
This appear:
The Apache service named Apache.exe reported the following error:

And this report in this time.

Do you have Symantec Anti-virus (or other similar low level software)? Please uninstall it and to whether the situation improves.

I don´t have any antivirus system. Only windows 2003 server original. I have to restart windows 2003 server every day because my network local card its blocked when firstspot stop.
I think its possible because I have too many uners. HOw many users firstspot accept? The problem could be in the log file size when have too many movements.
When i had low traffic firtsspot work very well but now stop every day.
The new 5.0 beta 2 version accept more users?
I need a urgent solution. Its preferible put windows xp sp2 OS?
Thanks |

But can you increase the machine resource like memory as a test?
What is your machine configuration? Around how many users are you talking about? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

I HAVE TO RESET FIRSTSPOT EVERY DAY AND its the only way to works good. Its possible with too much traffic or users stop? The problem is that close local network card windows 2003 server when firstsport runs almost one day. |

I don't think it is the traffic. I still suspect some 3rd party or Windows components is conflicting with FirstSpot.
Try to make your Private Network Interface network components with only FirstHop driver and TCP/IP (see v5 readme.rtf). _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
