|

Quick question, we have firstspot set up to dhcp, and we supply our customers with broadband routers set up to get address automaticly on the wan port. The problem is, firstspot will address the router a wan ip, but we cant get any internet out of the router. When the router is removed, it works with out flaw. We have tested this with multiple routers and still no luck.
Is there something in the software we are forgetting to set? |

You mean you are setting up Scenario 3 in http://www.patronsoft.com/firstspot/topologies.html ?
Note that you need to configure Multiple Network Segments within FirstSpot and enable DHCP relay in your router. Refer to chapter 4 (Scenario 3 session) of firstspot_guide.pdf for details. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

I only have this problem if " client Isolation" is enabled in firstspot. I have found that if you use a static IP in the router, it works great |
