I noticed that there is a config item in the MISC that has block_upd=on. I'm just curious to know if there is a reason this is default in FS and if turning it off (so programs that use UDP will work) will have a negative effect on the program. What is the problem with UDP and FS?

If you set block_udp=off, program that uses "purely" udp (e.g. some VPN client) can access the Internet without login.
