We have 4 different locations, each with their own dsl connection to the net. We want to use patronsoft to implement acceptable use policy agreements for our free access. Question is this - we want to have a central server for control, but when granted, route the traffic back throught the dsl connection at each site. Scenario 3 looks like we must route all net traffic back to the site where the server is located. We are trying to stay away from a server at each location.
Thanks... |

Yes, all the traffic must go through the centralized FirstSpot server first before reaching the Internet.
We think this trade-off is reasonable. Refer to http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1338 (last paragraph) for more discussion on this topic. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
