Post subject: Internet access

Hi,

I'm currently evaluating FirstSpot and I'm currently having problem accessing the internet from the client pc?

I can access the internet from the pc where I'm running FirstSpot but when I try to access the internet from the client pc (connected by a crossover cable to the FirstSpot pc) I only get up to the redirection screen, the status says waiting response from the external site and then it goes to an error page.

I also tried to access google, which is in exception list, it also goes to the error page after few minutes of waiting.

I couldn't see anything in error log that would explain the failure. Is there anything I could have missed in my configuration? Is there any log file I could check to diagnose the problem?

It was the NAT setting. I must have disabled it when I was playing around with the configurations.

I'm doing my test on my old machine running on Win2k.

Thanks for your response.
