I am needing some help to install firstspot.I had the system up and running to test using my office router.no problems-
Iam now trying to install on another router which does not have dhcp activated.
my ip settings are 192.168.0.200
subredis 255.255.255.0
gateway is 192.168.0.1
dns preferred is 80.56.61.250
alternative dns is 80 .58.61.254
using these settings on my public card i have internet on the terminal and firstspot starts with no messages.
I cannot however reach the hotspot from any other computer.I get error mesage when i try to connect.IP is shown as 0.0.0.0 on client computer.
I have installed firstspot from start and still the same problem.
Can somebody help? |

But can your client PC obtain IP from FirstSpot DHCP server? Try to issue:
ipconfig/release
ipconfig/renew
from the client PC.
If you cannot get an IP and FirstSpot is started correctly, make sure there is no router between your client PC and FirstSpot (see chapter 2 of firstspot_guide.pdf). _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
