Post subject: About platform and max users capacity

Hi, my company is about to buy FirstSpot as part of a WiFi network implementation on Mucuchies, Venezuela.

I wish to know how many users can take FirstSpot?

In our case, we need to register about 500 users, what hardware resources does FirstSpot need for that case?.

P.D.: Does exists some Linux port for FirstSpot by any chance?

FirstSpot does not have hard-bound limit of users and it really depends solely on hardware.

For hardware requirement, note that it is depended on concurrent users rather than registered users. You can check out a real life example at http://www.patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1974 .

Sorry, FirstSpot runs on Windows only (though we support a variety of clients including Windows, MAC, Linux, PDA, iPhone, etc...).
