Way to avoid sending SSL certificate on captive page

We are currently working with SSL authentification. We would like to know if there's a way so we could change the FirstSpot login page, because we don't want our users to be warned about the SSL certificate on their captive page.

Our idea is first to show the users an information page, warning them of the certificate and informing that they should accept it to continue with the login process. In this information page we would have a link to the FirstSpot login page. However, it is not very clear for us if we can do this. Would it be possible to work this way?

You need use "Use 3rd party SSL certificate" that is in the client default trust CA. Refer to chapter 3 & 5 for instructions.

OK. so I understand thet apart from this solution (which prevents the browser from blocking the page until the user acceps the certificate) there is no other way of avoiding sending the certificate on the captive/login page.
