Weird packet drops

I'm getting some odd results with PatronSoft...
If I whitelist my computer's MAC address within PatronSoft, I get relatively fast www loads (using opendns but it still holds up on the initial DNS resolving for some reason) and I'm able to ping an external server without any dropped requests.

If I'm not on the whitelist and I just function as an unauthenticated user (but I connect to whitelisted Domains), if I ping an external server, it'll let 2 or 3 requests go through, 3-4 fail, 5 more go through, a couple more fail, etc. I can ping the wireless gateway without any failures and I can ping the NIC without any failures. Any suggestions?

Basically, the round trip time should take a bit longer for the case where an unauthenticated client pinging a domain in Exception Free List. It may be the reason why some of the packets drop.

Can you test again by pinging patronsoft.com with and without Client Pass-through and post the results here?
