During the installation of Firstspot V6, I receive three "error running command" errors during the PHP configuration phase (I believe). I press the OK button every time I receive the error message and Instalation completes. When I try to start FirstSpot on the configuration web page, I receive an error saying Fail to modify visitor NIC. How can I solve this problem. I am not an expert but I followed the readme file and the Guide, step by Step. Help will be highly appreciated. Thanks, lutepo _________________ I am a consultant |

Something wrong with your installation. Please:
1) uninstall FirstSpot completely ( see http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=6647#6647 if you need to uninstall manually )
2) now, make sure no PHP/Apache is installed in your Windows
3) install FirstSpot v6 again. If there is any error, copy down the exact error message and post it here. Also, please try to post your FirstSpot install log file at %TEMP%\firstspot_install.log (if it is too big, just zip it and email it to firstspot@patronsoft.com) for further analysis. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
