Huge user log file

[firstspot]

Hi,

My name is Guirmo.
I'm running FS version 3.1.4 on Windows server 2003 Standard Edition.
Pentium 4 2.8Ghz 512mb

My problem is that FS is creating some kind of log file and this file keeps on growing until FS hangs.
The first time i've noticed this, the file was already 45gb.

I the deleted the file and restarted FS. FS creates this file automatically upon startup. in a week, this file can grow up to 1gb.

This file is located in "c:\program files\firstspot\log"

Is there a way to disable this log/feature?
cause now i'm deleting it every week and have to restart FS every time.

You can comment out _debug=1 (place a ; in front) at end of config.ini, and then restart FirstSpot. Although this is not exactly recommended since it is very hard to troubleshoot in case you have problem.

Also, the newer version (v5 or v6) has more streamline log system so that it won't grow large that fast. Note that since you have valid maintenance, it is free for you to upgrade.
