NAS unable to authenticate to RADIUS Proxy Server

GoodDay,

We setup a IAS 2003 proxy server to forward messages/data to a RADIUS Server. We follow the instructions on setting up a proxy server but during testing it seems the NAS was unable to connect/authenticate to the Proxy server. We monitored the TCP traffic and log file on the Proxy server if the NAS is able to send data/messages to the NAS but to no avail, no log or traffic comes from the NAS to the Proxy Server. Please advise us on how to resolve the said issue.

Correction on previous post. It should have been 'NAS able to send messages/authentication to Proxy Server' and not 'NAS able to send messages/authentication to NAS'

Please try to simplify your case initially. Make your IAS as RADIUS server (not RADIUS proxy) and make sure FirstSpot works perfectly with it first.

After that you can try to setup IAS as RADIUS proxy server.
