Correct me if I am wrong guys, but does the limitation of connected users in windows 2000 professional no matter to a user going through a Firstspot hotspot. If so is this because all traffic is routed via Firstspot software and not the windows.
I just dont want to shoot myself in the foot by offering only windows 2000/XP when I should be offering Server versions
regards

Windows 2000's limitation on concurrent users should only apply to Window services (e.g. network neighborhood), FirstSpot shouldn't be affected anyhow.
A reminder for version 3 though, Advanced Edition is required to run on Windows Server (2000 Server, 2003 Server, etc) platforms. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
