Post subject: MySQL connection |

I am missing something simple that i can not find an answer to. I have MySQL set up on a XP machine. When i go to create a ODBC connection on the machine with the MYSQL installed i can only connect using localhost as the host/servername. When i use the IP address it comes up " host not allowed to connect" Ifrom what i can see port 3306 is open.
Any ides? |

I figured it out. I did not have persmissions set right.
