Post subject: Remote AP control

Can First spot be located in a server in another country and be used for access control in a AP far far away whose MAC is know to us?
pls reply to [email deleted] as well if possible, We are looking for a captive portal solution for a low end routers.

Yes, you can use Scenario 3:Centralized Network Topology ( see http://www.patronsoft.com/firstspot/topologies.html ). Note that you cannot use low-end routers in this case.
