Please confirm the process for changing the IP address on the public NIC.
Do I need to change it in the config.ini and NOT in Windows MyNetworkPlaces properties? |

No, you shouldn't touch the config.ini file directly.
The correct step is to change the IP in Windows, then restart FirstSpot.

The step 9 sec b describe the detail if you change the original public network card(PublicNIC) to another network card.
