Post subject: overlapping error

hi, i installed firstspot trial version succesfully, but when i open the manager, i have the error

"Tue Apr 12 10:46:05 2005 The Private Network Interface and Public Network Interface network segments are overlapped (therefore FirstSpot's routing won't work). Please change the IP address "

even if i have given two different interfaces:
public inteface-> intel Wireless 2200G
private interface -> intel pro/100 VE
i m running firstspot under windows xp home service pack 2.
what does this error mean?
solution?

This means there is an IP address space conflict. Note that the Private Network Interface and Public Network Interface must belong to different subnet since FirstSpot acts like a router.

For Private Network Interface IP and subnet mask, you need to change them in Firstspot Configuration Manager.

For Public Network Interface IP and subnet mask, you need to change them in Windows.
