Mikrotik Support?

Does the product support Mikrotik 2.8 or 2.9? Where does the default login page live, on the AP/Gateway or on the First Spot PAC?

FirstSpot can connect to the Internet by itself, or you can insert any broadband router (whether it's a hardware box and software running on a separate PC) in the front.

For the AP module, you can use any low-cost ones without being bound to a specific brand or model.

The usual topology will be:

client machines == low-cost AP == FirstSpot == low-cost Router == Internet

FirstSpot will provide the splash/ welcome/ login page to the hotspot surfers.

What O/S's does FirstSpot Run on besides XP Pro and 2K Pro?

Will it run on 2k3 server and 2k server?

Yes. FirstSpot supports Windows 2000 (Professional and Server), XP (Home and Profressional), and Windows Server 2003.
