i have a quesion. on of the hotspot subscriber can use the outlook express for check emails. without opening inernet explorer. how can prevent it.

This shouldn't be possible. Are you sure that he did not login already?

Go to the Status tab in Configuration Manager to double-check the current active FirstSpot session.

This is strange.

Did you just happen to add your POP3 server IP in the Exception Free Website list? Also, what email system are you using (e.g. Yahoo Mail)?

Also, note that sometimes shared host will create this problem. For example, if you add patronsoft.com in Exception Free Websites domain name and mail.patronsoft.com shares the same IP as patronsoft.com, once end-users access patronsoft.com once, the IP will be added as Exception Free Websites IP implicitly. So you will be able to access email via mail.patronsoft.com without login.
