Post subject: Trying to ping through firstsoft

Well I think the subject says it all. I am running directly from a cisco router right into the box I have running firstsoft. That has a public IP address. The private side of the box also has a public IP address. All my AP's are running public IPs so I am able to monitor them/connect to them remotly. I am unable to ping any of the AP's or even the private side of the firstspot box. Is there any way around this?

Did you turn off NAT within FirstSpot? Refer to chapter 3 of firstpost_guide.pdf for the instruction.

Try to put the source IP that initiates the traffic to FirstSpot and APs in the Exception Free Websites IP address list, restart FirstSpot. See whether this helps.
