Post subject: Database limitations in v3

There had been several postings on this topic. However, I am not sure the discussed dbase limitations also apply to the current version.

We are planning to use FS in an ISP environment and expect approx. 10000 users to connect to 1 Firstspot.

Question: do we still need an external database in v3? Can 1 FS server handle this amount of "open" connections. What exaclty is seen as a concurrent session? The loging session only or the whole session until the user logs off?

Thanks

The limit is on concurrent database access, which only happens infrequently (e.g. login, logout).

For your case, it is best to use external database like MySQL (which is free) or SQL Server.
