DHCP Issue

Hi,

I'm evaluating FS in network scenarios 3. Here is a simple diagram of my test environment:

Inet -- PS(.1) --(10.20.7.0)-- (.254)Router(.1) --(10.2.2.0)-- (.x)Test PC

When I connect the PC to the 10.20.7.0 network, my DHCP settings are fine and everything works as expected. When I connect the PC to the 10.2.2.0 network, I get an IP address from the 10.20.7.0 network with the gateway being 10.2.2.1 (the router). I did setup the Multiple Network Segments in configuration manager as outlined the documentation and the router is forwarding DHCP requests to 10.20.7.1 (PS). Am I missing something?

Looks like your client PC gets the correct IP setting! Note that in the Multiple Network Segments (MNS) scenario, it is normal that the client's gateway being the router (10.2.2.1). FirstSpot DHCP server obtains this piece of information from your MNS setting.

The IP address FS was giving out was from the 10.20.7.0 network and GW address was 10.2.2.1. That didn't work. Once I rebooted the server I started getting IP addresses from the 10.2.2.0 network. Which does work. Thanks.
