What brand of router I can use in this picture below ? I really need to see user manual. Because when I buy FirstSpot V6.0. I don't want to buy maintenance. I use FirstSpot many license since V4.0. until 5.14. Now I want to buy one more.

Couple of comments:
1) For this scenario 3 ( see http://patronsoft.com/firstspot/topologies.html ), usually RADIUS is not necessary. RADIUS is only necessary if you already have a RADIUS directory built. Refer to http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1175 for more discussion on this topic.
2) Regarding the routers in this scenario 3, there are 2 key features you need to look for:
- ability to disable NAT - many low-end routers will do (except some d-link)
- DHCP relay - this usually requires mid-tier routers like Zyxel
Refer to chapter 4 of firstspot_guide.pdf for more information. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
